"It was a real surprise for us. It was our first time at CeBIT, a bit of testing the waters, and it really did work brilliantly for us," GetData Managing Director, John Hunter, said today.
"We also got a strong reaction to the launch of two new products, The Computer Security Tool and a corporate site license package for ExplorerView. Next year we'll be taking a bigger stand and we're now looking quite seriously at CeBIT Germany next year.
"We've had considerable international success with our retail deals but these new opportunities prove the value of coming to a trade show as well branded and as big a draw-card as CeBIT."
GetData's lead product, RecoverMyFiles, is currently being rolled out across more than 1,000 US stores. It is also retailed in six European countries and has already become the top data recovery product for business and home users in Japan.
GetData, based in Hurstville, Sydney, is a specialist in data recovery applications but has expanded its development and product range over the past two years into a range of productivity and PC security tools.
