GetData Software Development Company has a won a coveted Consensus Software Award for the innovation, performance and market potential of its lead product Recover My Files.
The win has come just as Recover My Files, already in six Euro markets and Japan, has cracked the US retail market and is being rolled out to around 1,000 stores across America including the CompUSA, Fry’s Electronics and Micro Center outlets.
The annual Consensus Software Awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts.
“We’re thrilled to be acknowledged by the Consensus Software Awards here in Australia. That’s very important to us because it’s been judged by our peers and other industry experts,” GetData managing director John Hunter said today.
“It’s the result of more than three years design, development and testing. Recover My Files can recover more than 150 files types.”
The data recovery technologies in the GetData suite of five products were developed by former forensic police officers John Hunter and Graham Henley, based on their experience in major investigations including allegations against One-Tel and HIH, together with physicist Dr. Brett Hunter, formerly with ANSTO.
