GetData Recover My Email updated

Posted by: Megan Burger, PC Advisor Magazine, United Kingdom. April 18, 2008 GetData Software has released the latest version of Recover My Email. Recover My Email is, er, an email-recovery program. Recover My Email works with Outlook and Outlook Express. It recovers messages that have been emptied from the Deleted Items or Trash Folder. Recover My Email also opens corrupt or damaged Outlook PST or Outlook Express DBX files. It costs $99, which is about £50 of your English pounds ex VAT. Recover My Email can also convert files to the EML format, a commonly used email format on multiple platforms. All the found messages and attachments are displayed in a special preview window - allowing users to select and save the emails and attachments they need to keep. “The updated version of Recover My Email also works on more levels of file corruption that could be caused from a range of human errors or the impact of outages or power surges which can affect computers,” GetData director, Graham Henley, said. "Recover My Email repairs emails and reconstructs the directories from both Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express and saves them to a new file. And the conversion capability allows users to transfer their emails to virtually any other email program.” For more information, go to www.recover-my-email.com
